creativity-
not something associated with advent,but i was thinking all about this on my run yesterday. i was braggin' on my friend, ermina, who has just had a very successful art show and really grabbed life by the horns to express herself creatively and fiercely- very powerful.
so what i was thinking was that creativity is one thing that separates us from other creatures. we humans look at things and think to ourselves how can it be challenged, how can it be turned upside down, how can i make it better, how can i bust convention and challenge others thinking. score one for us humans!
and wasn't that how jesus approached his ministry on earth? by challenging, looking to make it better, questioning and turning things upside down. today i will think about the ways that i challenge others (in a good way).
